Los Molles Complejo Turístico

Ski resort

Las Leñas

One of the most renowned ski resorts in South America. 18 km from Complejo Los Molles — 15 minutes on Ruta 222 to the base.

Why it's iconic

A tradition of freeride and altitude

Opened in July 1983, Las Leñas became one of South American skiing's icons. Host of the 1990 Pan American Winter Games and the 1989 Women's Alpine Skiing World Championships, today it combines slopes for every level with off-piste terrain that draws riders from around the world.

The ski resort is 18 km from Complejo Los Molles. For many guests, that's the ideal combo: a full day on the slopes or in the snow, and at the end of the day you come back to a quiet valley, away from the resort buzz.

The slopes

For every level, with iconic freeride

The 29 marked slopes cover the full range: zones for beginners, intermediates, advanced and experts. The Apolo, Neptuno and Venus descents can be linked into a 7,050-meter run — one of the longest on the continent.

The real plus is off-piste: the terrain beyond the marked area is what turned Las Leñas into a must-stop on the global freeride circuit. Only with a certified guide, safety gear and the right conditions — but when it's on, it's hard to beat.

Season

When to travel

The usual season runs from June to September, with peak snow in July and August. September often has a solid base with fewer crowds and lower rates — ideal if you don't need to be there on opening day.

The resort has 30 snow cannons distributed across the mountain, helping stabilize the base in drier seasons.
